Brewer-Garrett, a leader in the Energy Services Performance Contracting industry, is seeking an exceptional candidate for our Federal Energy Services Project Development Team. In this role, the right candidate will prospect, qualify, develop, propose, and negotiate Energy Savings Performance Contracts with the Federal Government.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Prospecting and target customers that can provide an opportunity to sell Federal Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPC).
  • Maintain relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential customers to execute sales in the Federal market.
  • Utilize BG's current contract vehicles (DoE ESPC IDIQ III, GSA Schedule 84 (ENABLE), Utility Energy Service Contract (UESC)), while identifying and acquiring others.
  • Target potential customers, qualify and initiate contact, and develop relationships to acquire new accounts in support of ESPC opportunities.
  • Develop call plans, perform sales calls and face-to-face meetings, and secure orders for services offered.
  • Interface with project managers, engineers, executive management, and proposal specialists to develop, write, and finalize competitive proposals.
  • Work with engineering, other sales and marketing, operational personnel and proposal specialists to develop responses to customer RFP's and in negotiating and developing contracts.
  • Determine and assess a customer's needs, provide solutions, negotiate deals, bring sales to a close (Long-lead sales cycle management)
  • Work with the existing team to survey, develop and sell solutions, delivering the project with high customer satisfaction. 
  • Maintain a relationship with the buyers to ensure customer satisfaction and to pursue any additional sales opportunities.
  • Complete appropriate paperwork for booking, commission, and sales forecast, contact management system, etc.
  • Travel appropriately throughout the country

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or related field
  • Experience selling Federal Energy Savings Performance Contracts
  • C-level sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed established sales goals
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills demonstrating professionalism and commitment
